BIO’s mission is to champion biotechnology issues by advocating for policies that will enable the realization of breakthrough products to cure disease, feed the hungry, and clean our environment.

The eAdvocacy Summit provides advocacy organizations with the healthcare social media tools to educate stakeholders.

Fortunately, we are not alone – our many alliance and advocacy partners share our goal. When smart, like-minded people get together, good things tend to happen. That’s why I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s eAdvocacy Summit here in Washington, DC.

The Global Healthy Living Foundation (GHLF) and Eli Lilly and Company have come together for the second year in a row to provide advocacy organizations with the latest social media tools to to help advance health care and pharmaceutical policy here at home and around the world.

At the last count I heard, more than 130 organizations have registered to attend, making it one the largest and most substantial gatherings of healthcare advocacy interest groups.

The event is free and open to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. The  target audience for this event include executive directors, policy directors and/or advocacy directors from non-profits that are interested in health policy.

For more information and to register to attend (in person or virtually via the program webinar), please go to: www.eadvocacy.org

I’ll be there, I hope you can make it too.
